Front Yard Party
Friday, August 22nd, 2025, 6:30pm to 8:30pm at 6327/6317 S Benton Way
The neighborhood Front Yard Parties have been a hit and lots of fun! The Summer Front Yard Parties are a tradition in our neighborhood and an excellent way to meet neighbors that live nearby. The host supplies some simple refreshments and their front yard. The guests bring snacks, drinks to share, a lawn chair or two, and the party begins! Summer Picnic
Saturday, August 23rd, 2025, 11:15am to 2pm at Leawood Park
Annual Leawood Bike Parade & Picnic The Annual Bike Parade and Leawood
Picnic has been a tradition in our neighborhood for years. This year we are excited
to bring it back once again on August 23rd. The bike parade kicks off the festiv-
ities at Leawood Elementary at 11:30am. KIDS THAT ARE IN THE PARADE
NEED TO BE AT THE LEAWOOD
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL BY 11:15.
We encourage attendees to decorate their
bikes! The picnic will be hosted at
Leawood Park immediately after the
parade. Come and watch the kids pull
up with a firetruck escort! We will have
food, bouncy castle, shaved ice, and a
bake sale raffle. If you would like to vol-
unteer to help, reach out to the Leawood
Civic Association. The annual picnic has
a bake sale to raise money for the schol-
arship fund; please consider bringing
baked goods for the raffle. We are also
looking for people to donate prizes for
the Raffle! The cost for the picnic is $5
per person for Members, $7 per person for non-members. First come, first serve
until food is gone.
